Friends Of OGCA

Welcome to The Ohio Gun Collectors Association, your premier destination for educational classes, firearm research services, and exciting events. In addition to our core offerings, we take great pride in hosting “Collector Invitational Meetings,” inviting esteemed firearm collector organizations and related groups to join us. These exclusive gatherings are like a “show within our show,” featuring captivating exhibits and trade tables in a prominent section of our hall.

We are thrilled to share that we have been honored to host several prestigious collectors’ associations in the past year. Notably, the Winchester Arms Collectors Association (WACA) has been holding its annual mid-western show with us since 2012, while ROCS, The Ruger Owners & Collectors Society, has been a valued participant almost every year since 2015.

These associations bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep appreciation for the firearms they collect. Their presence enriches the experience for OGCA members by creating a unique opportunity for a spirited game of “show and tell.” Attendees can showcase their own collectibles from the featured manufacturer, fostering a sense of camaraderie and facilitating the discovery of rare and extraordinary pieces that would otherwise remain undiscovered.

OGCA Membership

Though closed to the public, OGCA meetings are huge events drawing thousands of people from across the country, and regularly feature 600-700 tables of strictly gun-related material. According to the National Rifle Association, OGCA is the “Granddaddy” of all firearm collector associations, having been founded in 1937 and now standing at over 16,000 members.
