Life member Erna Becker left this world on November 9. She was an amazing person, author, and the beloved wife of former Director Frank Becker, Jr. who remains a 62-year member. Erna wrote a memoir, From Franzfeld to Mansfield; A Journey Through Tito’s Death Camps, a book that has had an impression on numerous OGCA members. Erna was a stalwart supporter of the Second Amendment and worked for many years at the OGCA PAC table raising much needed funds for pro-freedom legislators. Born in Franzfeld, Yugoslavia, she and her family migrated to America in 1952, settling in Mansfield. Erna became an accountant after high school. She worked for the Ohio Brass Company for 37 years. Erna and Frank had a 67-year marriage made in heaven and had two daughters, Katharina and Anna. Erna is a loving, friendly angel and will long be remembered.
